Advisory Board Meeting Minutes of December 9, 2022

The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) Advisory Board met on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 10:00 am at 15 Blandin Avenue, 3^rd Floor Conference Room, Framingham, MA at the call of Joseph Nolan, Advisory Board Chair/Wayland.

A roll call of members present was conducted; in attendance onsite were: Kristina Johnson/Hudson, Joseph Nolan/Wayland, and Colette Aufranc/Wellesley.

Virtual Attendance: Ed Burman/Ashland – Vice-Chair, Kevin McCabe/Dover, Mike Tusino/Framingham, Linda Marshall/Holliston, Carole Mullen/Hopedale, Mary Jo Lafreniere/Hopkinton, Josh Ostroff/Natick, Robert Wolff/Sherborn, and Jean MacQuiddy/Weston.

Also participating: Jim Nee, Administrator, Eva Willens, Chief Operating Officer/Deputy Administrator, Patrick Moynihan/ General Counsel, John Glynn/CFO, Linda Murtagh/Executive Assist-HR Manager, Joy Glynn/ Grants Manager, Tyler Terrasi/Grants Support Coordinator, Paula Doucette/ Financial Assistant, Emily Van Dewoestine/Director Fixed Route, Intermodal, & Marketing, Jon Fetherston/ Manager of Travel Training & Community Relations, Daniel Fitch/IT Consultant.

Not participating: Trish Pope/Marlborough, Michael Walsh/Milford, Martin Healey/Southborough, and Debra Galloway/Sudbury –Clerk.

With a quorum declared present, the meeting was called to order at 10:06 AM with Mr. Nolan, Chair, presiding.

Public Questions/Comments:  No questions/comments were presented.

Discussion/Approval of Agency Title VI Program: Administrator Nee reviewed the Title VI Program with the necessary updates.   Mr. Nee explained that every three (3) years the FTA requires that the Title VI Program be updated, as necessary, and approved by the MWRTA Advisory Board.

A motion was made by Ms. Aufranc of Wellesley: To approve the Agency Title VI Program FFY2023-FFY2025. Second Mr. Ostroff of Natick: Unanimous roll call vote.

Board Member Comments: Comprehensive Regional Plan to be discussed at a future meeting.

Adjournment: 

A motion was made by Ms. Aufranc of Wellesley.  Second by Mr. Ostroff of Natick to adjourn the meeting. 

The meeting adjourned at 10:21 AM.
