Service Utility Worker
First Transit, the company providing fixed route service for MWRTA, currently seeks applicants that would be responsible for vaulting revenue vehicles, cleaning interior and exterior of revenue vehicles, and for facility grounds maintenance per contract specifications. Applicants must meet the following requirements: Must have the ability to maneuver into small spaces. Must have the ability to climb, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl when required. Must have good visual ability in order to complete tasks. Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions. Must be able to read, write and speak English, fluently. Candidates must possess a valid MA CDL Drivers License (at least class C) with a Passenger Endorsement and DOT Medical Card, MA DPU certificate. Thompson Transit, Inc., the company providing MetroWest RIDE service for MWRTA, currently seeks a vehicle detailer. This a weekend position â€“ Saturdays and Sundays, five or six hours each day at our Framingham facility. Responsibilities include cleaning the interiors of transit authority vans and sedans. Prospective candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record.

Transit Evaluation Associate

Hourly rate - $10.00 Job duties â€“ Individual will evaluate trips based on their experience with the driver, other passengers, on time performance of schedule, schedule adherenceâ€¦ Individual will be expected, with the assistance of the program coordinator, to familiarize themselves with evaluation survey and assigned routes, prior to beginning their shift.
